Andreas Roll | Foundry Engineer
Andreas Roll worked for MAC GmbH since 2008 as GiessereiEngineering GmbH. In many projects, the two companies complemented each other perfectly and were able to deliver good work for MAC customers. The understanding of the projects, the process as well as the cooperation with the customers corresponded to a common approach. The long-term cooperation resulted in the takeover of MAC GmbH Germany by Andreas Roll.
His professional career began as a toolmaker in a die casting foundry. He then studied foundry and materials technology at the FH Friedberg/Hesse, graduating as a foundry engineer. As such, he held responsible positions in tier one foundries in development, planning and production. Andreas Roll has headed MAC GmbH Germany since 2021.
Markus Albert | Graduate Economist | Foundry Engineer
Markus Albert is an independent entrepreneur. In 2003 he founded our “mother company”, MAC GmbH in Switzerland. After training as a foundry technologist, he studied business administration. He has many years of national and international experience in management consulting and corporate management. Markus Albert is a foundryman with heart and soul and is always happy to make his extensive knowledge and wealth of experience available to customers for economical and technically balanced solutions.
In years of cooperation with partners from industry and the university of applied sciences, Markus Albert developed processes for industrial use. He was happy to make the expertise he and his team had acquired – as well as that of his former superiors and predecessors – available to his customers.
Barbara Wiehage | Graduate translator | Graduate interpreter
Barbara Wiehage studied translation and interpreting at the Humanities Center of the Cologne University of Applied Sciences. After that she worked as a secretary in an international project in the aviation industry. Since 1988 she has been a sworn translator of French and Spanish documents and a sworn court interpreter and worked as a freelance translator for many years.
After numerous professional positions in large corporations, medium-sized companies and as an independent freelancer, Barbara Wiehage has been using her administrative, organizational and linguistic skills for MAC GmbH Germany since 2023 to free up the management for its core competencies.
